Does Shale Oak offer food or can I bring my own?Yes, we offer cheese boards, charcuterie boxes, almonds, chocolates, crackers, and non-alcoholic drinks for sale. Yes, you can bring your own picnic and snack items too.

Is Shale Oak open on holidays?We are closed on Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years Day.

Is Shale Oak family friendly?Of course, we are family friendly! We ask that you account for all members of your party when making your reservation.

Is Shale Oak eco-friendly?Yes we are! We are SIP Certified, which stands for Sustainability In Practice (SIP). SIP Certified is a sustainable certification program for winegrowers and winemakers. So you can feel confident our wine protects the people and the planet. Our Tasting Room Building is GOLD LEED certified too.

Is Shale Oak dog friendly?Shale Oak is a dog-friendly winery. We only ask that dogs remain on their leash during your visit.
